In 2010, the Conference Board, reported that almost 60% of Americans are dissatisfied with their jobs while similar reports show that close to 70% are not engaged or are actively disengaged at work. Recent findings, as outlined in the 2009 Shift Index, show that passion levels in the workplace are low across all U.S. industries with fewer than 20% of employees in most industries saying that they are passionate about their work.
How did we get to where we are? Why are so many people unhappy and disengaged at work? Certified Life Purpose and Career Coach, Monica Moody says it’s because, “We’ve tuned out, we’ve gone numb and we’ve disconnected. And because we are disconnected from ourselves, we are disconnected from work.” Is it time to awaken souls at work?
Monica hopes to do just that through an international telesummit experience that promises to give participants the “soul tools” they need to infuse their professional lives with meaning, purpose, creativity, intuition and heart.
This free telesummit runs from June 20th – July 1st, 2011 and features 10+ of the most progressive thought leaders on human potential and professional purpose including Marci Schimoff, Reverend Deborah L. Johnson, Craig Hamilton, Bettie Spruill, Chloe Taylor-Brown, Jennifer Broadley, Nick Williams, Deborah Rozman, Gabby Bernstein, Dr. Sue Morter and Colin Tipping.
And both individuals and corporate leaders are being asked to tune in. The summit offers a Business Bundle Training Pack that organizations can use as a training tool for their employees. Telesummit speaker Jennifer Broadley says, “The summit is a platform to share a new way of integrating heart, soul, intuition, and co-creation into leadership and corporate business. This is cutting-edge professional development with practical application for extraordinary results in our increasingly competitive and fast changing business environments . . . I believe 'soul integration' to be the final frontier of innovative corporate leadership . . .”
Details about the event can be found at www.awakenyoursoulatwork.com and those with a desire to learn more will have to decide for themselves if it’s truly time for an awakening.
