Follow on Google News | The National Gaming League is bringing Live Halo Reach and BlackOps Tournaments to Charlotte, NCThe National Gaming League's second event for the 2011 season will be held in Charlotte, NC. Popular Xbox 360 console games such as Call of Duty Black Ops and Halo Reach will be featured.
By: Jay Alexander Halo: Reach rounds will take place on Saturday, July 23, and Call of Duty: Black Ops rounds will be held on Sunday, July 24. On each day, registration for the respective event will begin at 9AM with Free-for-All rounds beginning at 10AM, 2v2 rounds beginning at 12:30PM, and 4v4 rounds beginning at 4:30PM. Cash prizes will be awarded to the winning team or player of each event. In addition, the winning 4v4 team will be sponsored to attend the 2011 NGL National Championship, the premiere competitive event of the gaming season. Several hundred participants and spectators are expected, so players wishing to register are strongly encouraged to arrive early for registration. Thousands more will witness the live action via an HD stream online.
