Dr. Keith would tour the country speaking on the benefits of healthy living while making sales calls to customers who were buying his products. He did this with his entire family in tow (at the time 8 children) in a bus, going from city to city. Eventually Keith’s whole food products inspired the creation of the Perfect Foods Bar in 2005. This month, Dr. Keith’s children (now at 13) who run his business, are recreating that same tour their father took them on 18 years ago.
“We watched our father visit each of his customers in person, shaking their hands and doing business the right way. We are doing this today with our customers. Retailers want to work with partners who support them and we are very proactive in doing that,” said company President Bill Keith, the oldest son of Dr. Keith and his wife Barbara. Bill is leading a team of 3 Perfect Food representatives who are visiting retailers such as Whole Foods and The Fresh Market, Earth Fare, running product demos and answering questions of the customers.
The tour appears to be a hit with the retailers. According to Kelli Mason Sports Nutrition Buyer Whole Foods Market Richmond, VA, "They have a great product and incredible story. The service the team provides us with is…Perfect,"
