June 14, 2011 - PRLog -- In France, Bastille Day it is formally called La Fête Nationale and commonly le quatorze juillet (the fourteenth of July). The day commemorates the 1790 Fête de la Fédération, held on the first anniversary of the storming of the Bastille on 14 July 1789 and is seen as a symbol of the uprising of the modern French nation. For those looking at things to do in Languedoc, the festivities take place on the morning of 14 July in the provincial towns of Narbonne and Beziers near Villa La Cascade. The last two high season weeks left available for renting this south of France villa this summer come at a rate of €2800 per week and coincide with Bastille Day on July 14.
