Ageless Media Network to Interview Expert Researcher from The Longevity Project

June 14, 2011 - PRLog -- The Ageless Media Network will interview Dr. Leslie Martin, one of the researchers from The Longevity Project, on Saturday, June 18, 2011.    The work is based on 1500 individuals who were followed from childhood to death,  starting in 1921.   Dr. Martin started this work in collaboration with Dr. Howard Friedman,  both at University of CA-Riverside.   The research has now been cited in 150 influential scientific books and journals.    The conclusions are surprisingly simple and debunk many common myths about diet, exercise, and other lifestyle factors.

Dr. Martin received her PhD from UC-Riverside.  She has won many awards for research and teaching and continues to study physician/patient communications.    Her writings, in addition to The Longevity Project,  include books about health behavior and psychology.
