PRLog - June 20, 2011 - CORVALLIS, Ore. -- EDDCS (Electronic Download Delivery Confirmation Service) has recently released an Integration API for software developers, a patented technology that provides delivery confirmation on digital goods, which can be viewed by any third party.
The EDDCS Integration API is designed to be included within software that delivers digital items to allow delivery confirmation for new and existing programs. The API provides functions that communicate with the EDDCS system, monitoring the entire download process, and ensuring that every byte is transferred to the recipient using unique confirmation codes. In addition to the API, a free developer’s sandbox is available for unlimited software development testing, which allows developers to test their integration processes prior to release. EDDCS also provides documentation and code examples to assist with integration.
“The main purpose of the Integrated API is to assist developers in adding delivery confirmation capability in software that delivers digital items, which can then be offered to their customers and/or clients as another layer of protection against Internet fraud,” said EDDCS founder and software engineer Duane Murray. “As a developer myself, I am excited about creating tools to help digital merchants fight Internet fraud, and EDDCS is the solution to this pervasive problem.”
