Fifi, the Last Flying B-29, Returns to Fort Worth’s Vintage Flying Museum for Remainder of June

June 13, 2011 - PRLog -- Ft. Worth – The Commemorative Air Force’s historic B-29 Superfortress “FiFi” returns to the Vintage Flying Museum in Fort Worth, Monday, June 13 and will remain there throughout June.

“Visitors can view “Fifi” during the remaining weekends in June on Saturdays 10 a.m. –5 p.m. and Sundays noon-5 p.m.,” said Chuckie Hospers, spokesperson for the museum. “Weekday visits are available by appointment at the Vintage Flying Museum. Admission is $8 for adults; $5 for senior citizens and teenagers; and $3 for children 6-12.”  

On  July 2-4 “Fifi” will join “Ol’927”, one of the last flying B-24 Liberators at Texas Jet, a fixed based operator at Meacham Field. On these days the two historic planes will be available for rides. These flights can be booked by calling 432-413-4100 or visiting rideb29.com. Because of the limited seating and time reservations are encouraged.
