Boyka’s is a family owned Greenhouse and Farm Market that was started in 1981 when parents, Sylvester and Virginia, began selling produce of the backs of farm wagons on 23 Mile Road in Macomb, Michigan. That evolved in 1984 when they began growing and selling growing and selling bedding plants and hanging baskets.
Today, Boyka’s, which is Flemish for “Little Boy”, continues with the same care and quality that was taught by their father. The Greenhouse portion of their business produces plants, flowers and hanging baskets from May 1 through mid June. The Farm Market portion opens in mid-July when the harvest starts and lasts until October 31st.
Boyka’s has been happy to serve the Macomb area for several years and will be happy to do so for many more and if this award has anything to say about them, they will. You can visit their website at boykasfarmmarket.com for more information.
