Planning Accelerates For Washington, DC's "11/11/11 - Global Gathering of the Church"

June 12, 2011 - PRLog -- With previously mailed-out church progress reports due to be completed immediately following June 30th, and, mid July looming as the next planning meeting with the Washington DC branch of the US National Park Service, planning has been accelerated for the November 11, 2011 "11/11/11-Global Gathering of the Church." The event, which is to be held in Washington, DC, at the National Mall, from 11 am to 9 pm, with a two hour clean up, is starting to attract clergypersons who wish to address the assembled obedient faithful of God. Planners still need to hear from more clergy as well as more worship music performers, to fill the schedule for the interdenominational, non-sectarian, multi-cultural Christian festival of unity.

Due to travel cost restrictions, Satellite, the Scottish worship ensemble who perform the 11/11/11 theme song, "One Church, One Voice," will be unable to attend. They have, of course, given event organizers permission to use their wondeful song for the event's international theme music. Event coordinator, One Church // One Voice, expressed intent to obtain a number of Satellite Record's One Church, One Voice album, which is presently available from satelliteworship.com.

With event insurance required, and estimates of $8,000 to $10,000 for site preparation, including dumpsters, portable toilets, sinks, and trash cans, and their removal, One Church // One Voice, National Coordinators of the Washington, DC "11/11/11 Global Gathering of the Church" has initiated a PayPal.com based donation campaign: "The Five-On-It Campaign!" With the economy as it is, many ministries, churches, and persons who would, in their hearts, desire to sponsor the entire cost for this landmark event, are completely unable to do so. Event planners have not, yet, been so blessed, but say they pray that a large and successful ministry will catch the vision of what God is doing, globally, as He calls His Church together, on November 11th, around the world, and assist in the gathering together of God's Church. "His will be done; this will be done!" they say.

However, in the meantime, readers can help actually bring about "The Global gathering of the Church," by donating $1, or $2, or $5. Every lttle bit will bring the event closer. And readers remember: the poor widow gave the most of all, and it was two small denomination coins. Your small donation will be looked upon, kindly, by The Lord, for He knows just where that money came from. "Help us bring this about!"

The exciting news of gatherings; such as in the worship gathering in Maryland; or the "Line in the Sand" gathering in the Rose Bowl, in Pasadena, CA, the gathering in Egypt, where the presently persecuted Coptic Christian brothers and sisters will assemble in the shadows of the Pyramids of Giza, or the great "11/11 Campaign," which seeks to span much of the nation with prayer, link, at the Gettysburg National Battlefield, and then march to Washington, DC, have captivated Christians, worldwide. They realize that the hand of Almighty  God is directing these many, widely separated entities to devote themselves, suddenly, to the gathering together, specifically, on November 11, 2011, of the Church.

Planners still need clergy to speak at the event, and worship performers, to lead the worship sessions. Christian Law Enforcement Professional are invited to volunteer as Marshalls, for this historic event. 200 Marshalls will be required.
