– Charlotte, NC - Charlotte Junior Chamber president, City of Charlotte Zoning Board member, and well noted real estate agent, David Hoffman, has taken on An Evening of Stars, a prom for the children who are patients of Levine Children’s Hospital, as a personal and professional commitment.
“Every child deserves to go to their prom,” says Hoffman. “I am humbled and honored to be a part of such an incredible event that will profoundly impact so many people in the Charlotte Metro community.  If I can aid in even one child being able to attend their prom, this will be more valuable than most events in my life.  In partnering with The Sandbox for this event, I am fully confident that An Evening of Stars will be a huge success this year and for many years to come.  All powers combined, I am looking forward to creating a scenario where over 100 children and their dates will experience a night that will forever be one of the greatest moments of their lives.”
Hoffman made his commitment and endorsement official on Tuesday, June 7th at Villa Antonio on South Blvd at 7pm during the Charlotte Junior Chamber Membership Meeting featuring Mayor Anthony Foxx.
An Evening of Stars is an inaugural event, which is being held on September 23rd, 2011 at Founder’s Hall, located in the heart of Uptown Charlotte.
