Underwritten by the Lake Arrowhead Village, the Village Merchants Association, Burrtec Waste Industries, Inc., KOLA 99.9 FM, the Rim of the World Historical Society and Ontario Reign, the concert lineup this weekend will showcase two popular tribute bands. “If you’re looking for something to do this weekend in Southern California, these free concerts are a great option,” says Rebecca Smith, Director of Marketing for Lake Arrowhead Village. “Center Stage is just upstairs from the lake. And plenty of great restaurants, specialty shops and outlet stores will be open late.”

Friday, June 10 at 6:30 p.m. The Neil Deal (Neil Young Tribute)
If you like Neil Young, you will dig The Neil Deal, which covers Neil Young classics as well as their own similarly styled original songs. Made up of talented musicians and led by Dennis Neil, the band boasts music featuring electric rock and acoustic guitar. Though the band members’ names and faces may have changed throughout the years, the talent has remained. And the Neil Young vibe performed by The Neil Deal can’t be beat.

Saturday, June 11 at 6:30 p.m. Joshua Tree (U2 Tribute)
The magic of U2 has captured the hearts and minds of millions and has produced one of the largest followings in history. For the past eight years, Joshua Tree has earned a national reputation as having captured a piece of that magic and emerging as the premiere U2 experience. Named “One of the Top 10 Tribute Bands” by Vegas Rocks! Magazine, Joshua Tree band members perform in character with accurate set-lists and riveting performances. Joshua Tree recreates the experience of seeing the super group U2 perform!
