Neo-Victorian boutique The Mysterium named an official sponsor of horror author Gabrielle Faust

June 8, 2011 - PRLog -- AUSTIN, TX – Gabrielle Faust, author of the acclaimed vampire series ETERNAL VIGILANCE and metaphysical demon series REGRET, recently announced a new partnership with Austin-based Neo-Victorian boutique, The Mysterium. The Mysterium will be sponsoring a variety of accessories for Faust to utilize in her various public appearances and photo shoots throughout the remainder of 2011.

“I have always been fascinated by the beautiful and intricately designed fashion sense of the steampunk genre. Brilliantly engineered and, at the same time, intensely romantic, the Neo-Victorian presentation is actually very near and dear to my own sensibilities. This year I am reinventing myself in many ways, as an artist should continually. I am excited about integrating the steampunk fashion sense into the development of this new image,” replied Gabrielle Faust when asked about the new partnership. “The Mysterium is a fabulous boutique that I am honored to work with and thrilled to represent in my public appearances. Also, since it is a local (Austin-based) store, it is even more exciting. The Austin public strives to support its local small businesses and we are very proud of that.”

The Mysterium is a Neo-Victorian store providing “wares appealing to Steampunks, Goths, Elegant Lolitas and people who like the idea of new twists on old concepts. The Mysterium aspires to be the store that brings Victoriana into one’s everyday life.” From canes to corsets, goggles and pocket watches, The Mysterium has a wide variety of exceptionally unique items for both men and women. Various steampunk-related events are hosted by the boutique each month including “Steampunk Saturday” and “Beer, Brass and B.S” where participants are encouraged to don their steampunk garb and revel in the genre. Gabrielle Faust will also be holding a book signing event at The Mysterium this summer (date T.B.D.) and will be present at the June 21st “Beer, Brass and B.S” event at Opal Divine’s–Penn Field in Austin, Texas.
