Go Au Pair offering $1,000 discount for live-in child care in South Florida

June 8, 2011 - PRLog -- Go Au Pair is offering South Florida families in Miami, Fort Lauderdale and Boca Raton $750 off the program fees and $250 off the application fee if they select an Au Pair within three months of their application being accepted.

The discounted program fee includes airfare for the Au Pair to and from their home country and health insurance for the Au Pair. Families also have access to a local area representative who lives close by to help with any of the host family and Au Pair needs.

Go Au Pair’s weekly prices are not based per child. Instead, a South Florida host family will only pay about $322 per week, despite the number of children in the family.

“We want to have more South Florida families benefitting from the Au Pair program, so we’re making Go Au Pair child care even more affordable for the area,” said Devon Kapler, executive director of Go Au Pair.

Au Pairs are international young adults who are prescreened, trained and have child care experience before arriving in the U.S. Au Pairs commit to a full year of child care. Host families decide the Au Pair’s work schedule which provides the flexibility parents need. Au Pair’s are allowed to work 10 hours a day with a limit of 45 hours per week.

The Department of State considers the Au Pair program a cultural exchange visitor program. Go Au Pair offers families a unique cultural experience in conjunction with quality child care.

Lauren Trezza, Go Au Pair’s local area representative in South Florida, said she has seen many families bond with their Au Pair and care about them as they’ve shown dedication to their host family.
