International Association Selects Prime Management Services as Headquarters Office

June 8, 2011 - PRLog -- The International Association of Forensic and Security Metrology (IAFSM), a nonprofit professional association of users, service providers, and manufacturers of metrological techniques and technology working for the advancement of justice, selected Prime Management Services (Prime), an event and association management company based in Birmingham, Alabama, as its headquarters office and staff.

Key to the decision was Prime's experience with other small, growing, international associations.  Part of the new responsibilities contracted to Prime include developing a calendar of events for staff and board members, developing a frequently asked questions document, establishing a monthly e-newsletter, developing membership communications formats, managing organizational press releases, managing and developing the organization's web site, and finally developing marketing and membership promotion activities.

IAFSM's mission is to promote the development and use of precision measurement systems, techniques and software in the generation of two- or three-dimensional coordinate spatial data for documentation, planning, analysis and/or presentation purposes in the service of justice.
