Chelsea Celebrates Open Squares for One Weekend Only…

June 8, 2011 - PRLog -- Cadogan Estates is opening the gates to one of its best kept secrets; for one weekend only - in support of the annual ‘Open Squares’ event organised by the London Parks and Gardens Trust.

Visitors will be able to enjoy two beautiful and historic oases of calm just off Sloane Street: Cadogan Place South Garden, between Sloane Street and Cadogan Place and Cadogan Square Garden located at Cadogan Square.

Guests are invited to soak up the atmosphere of the otherwise private gardens and indulge a series of classical music performances on offer by a leading string quartet from The Royal College of music.

Visitors will be able to choose from a delicious menu of quintessentially English food and refreshments available to purchase from Sloane Square’s popular bar and restaurant, ‘The Botanist’.

So for the ultimate ‘city escape’ head down to Chelsea to enjoy ‘Open Square’s Weekend’, perfect for families, a romantic day with a loved one, or just for a peaceful afternoon on one’s own.

About The Event:
•   Two otherwise private gardens of Chelsea will be open to the public from 10am - 5pm in support of Open Square’s Weekend on Saturday 11 – Sunday 12 June
•   Participating gardens are Cadogan Place South Garden, between Sloane Street and Cadogan Place (where the food and music will be) and Cadogan Square Garden located at Cadogan Square.
