KFA Marketing Consulting joins organizing committee of Asphalt Rubber 2012 conference

The entire event is being lead organized by Dr. Jorge Sousa President of Consulpav a Walnut Creek California and Portugal based asphalt rubber consulting firm who have organized all the previous world-wide conferences in collaboration with the Tempe, Arizona based non-profit tire recycling and asphalt rubber trade association - Rubber Pavements Association (RPA)

Value Relations GmbH are the Frankfurt based local organizing partners and KFA Marketing Consulting  is providing logistical and project management support services. Previous event venues have been located in Portugal (AR2000), Brazil (AR2003), USA (AR2006), and China (AR2009). Now Germany, where considerable work has been undertaken by US industry players over the last 12 years to introduce this high performance road surface material to the German government and local road building industry, was selected to host the AR2012 Conference. www.ar2012.net

This prestigious event which occurs every three years, provides a unique platform for asphalt rubber (AR) experts from around the world to present papers covering all aspects of the design, life cycle cost, construction, research, energy & environmental benefits, maintenance, recycling, tire/pavement noise reduction and production of asphalt rubber as a binder or use in a hot mix. . More than 25-years of industry practical experience in the USA has shown that asphalt-rubber materials have significant improved properties compared to asphalt cement including: increased high temperature modulus, viscosity & toughness, increased elasticity, reduced temperature susceptibility and less age hardening.

Keith Fryer has been associated with this industry sector for many years and has been intimately involved with market development work in Germany and elsewhere; including the Middle East - where Keith spent more than 5-years living and working in the territory.

Strategic alliances have been established and a new KFA focus is being developed in collaboration with key associates to introduce tire recycling systems, technologies and know-how in Europe, the Middle East and elsewhere around the world based on 20-years tire-recycling industry experience.

Recent projects have included preparing a full Feasibility Study carried out for a large construction consortia based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia for the development of a state-of-the-art tire recycling plant with integrated asphalt rubber blending equipment done in collaboration with its close associate K. I. Saab & Associates Los Angeles  - who specialize in Middle East projects focused in all the GCC countries including Qatar, UAE and Saudi Arabia.
