This course covers the basic physics and principles of ultrasound – providing the theory and understanding behind ultrasound operation. Basic system architecture, transducer types and their applications will also be discussed. The Ultrasound 101 class gives background and fundamentals with a hands-on lab for scanning techniques, scanning modes and knobology.
