By: Dells.com This will be the sixth annual Taste of the Dells. The event was created to entice potential visitors into the downtown Dells area during the slowest month of the tourist season. The first Taste of the Dells succeeded in this task and the now much looked forward to weekend has been a hit ever since. The celebration is planned by the Downtown Dells Committee which is preparing for upwards of 10,000 people this year. “Taste of the Dells gives attendees the opportunity to try a little bit of everything the area has to offer as each restaurant never gives you a full meal. The event itself is free making the weekend a time of fun, entertainment and good food without spending a fortune. We have set the whole thing up to be very customer friendly with non-stop entertainment for the whole family” states Mark Sweet, one of the event’s coordinators. The Wisconsin Dells area’s 20 best restaurants will be in attendance; selling their most delectable dishes for $4 or less. There truly will be something enticing for everyone with food from around the world including: Polish, Italian, Chinese, Cajun and American.
