June 6, 2011 - PRLog -- It creates unrivalled levels of exposure and networking opportunities - the marketing equivalent of the Oscars, if you will. Now in its 5th year, the 2011 awards have been no exception with more than 700 guests arriving at Grosvenor House on the 17th May.

A total of twenty-five companies were celebrated for their achievements in the affiliate marketing channel. Alongside Debenhams and Best Buy, Red Letter Days were rewarded with two a4u awards, their innovative campaign strategies managing to give their entries the edge over the exciting shortlist of retailers including Boots, Matalan, JJB, Texo, Radley and Argos.

The proud winner of these two prestigious awards, Red Letter Days has invested an enormous amount of effort in their affiliate channel. As explained by Joshna Patel, Red Letter Days’ Affiliate Manager: “As a business we are constantly adapting to the market as we need to keep ahead of the game in order to succeed in the online sector.”

Winning the ‘Best Retail Advertiser’ award demonstrates that ensuring effective relationship management, communication and awareness of affiliate needs are key factors in the success of a retail affiliate programme. Red Letter Days were shortlisted alongside LOVEFILM, Argos, Hotel Chocolat, Radley and My-wardrobe.

In addition to this award, Joshna was also the very proud winner of the ‘Hotshot Rising Star Award’. This new award was created specifically to reward one individual who has been judged as having made a huge impact within the sector over the past year. Judges were impressed with the fact that Joshna has delivered results above and beyond expectations, coupled with launching innovative solutions within the channel.

The a4u (http://www.internetretailing.net/2011/05/debenhams-best-b...) panel felt that Joshna had easily grasped the importance of driving sales for Red Letter Days whilst maintaining incremental value and brand engagement via her affiliate scheme. It was also apparent to the judges that Joshna lives and breathes affiliate marketing (http://www.redletterdays.co.uk/CompanyUpdates/2011-06-02), demonstrating the energy and commitment to make positive changes happen, which of course benefit both her employer and her affiliates.

Red Letter Days’ consistent awareness of affiliate’s needs has been a significant factor in ensuring their program maintains a high level of performance and success, resulting in notably strong results. Red Letter Days (http://www.redletterdays.co.uk/Home) were described by the judges as a very strong entry that put a reassuringly clever twist on relationship consolidation alongside an impressive sales turnover objective. Red Letter Days continue to be an attractive programme for affiliates, with very obvious gains.
