Volpe and Koenig, P.C. Kicks Off Its 2011 Giving Fund Campaign

June 6, 2011 - PRLog -- Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (June 6, 2011) – Volpe and Koenig, P.C., a leading intellectual property law firm with offices in Philadelphia and Princeton, New Jersey, announced today that the Firm is now accepting applications from local non-profit organizations for its 5th Annual Giving Fund Campaign.  Established in 2007, the annual Giving Fund helps two qualifying Greater Philadelphia area and Princeton, NJ non-profit organizations continue their good work by awarding them each a $20,000 grant.  This year, non-profits that support community development or animal education/welfare are invited to apply by filling out a short electronic application that is posted on the Firm’s Web site (vklaw.com).  Initial application forms must be received by July 31, 2011. Finalists will be notified in August and invited to complete a more extensive application.  The Firm encourages non-profit organizations headquartered in the area that could use extra support in meeting their goals to review the Giving Fund Guidelines on its Web site to see if they qualify.  

Volpe and Koenig’s Giving Fund has presented more than $140,000 to date to local non-profit organizations including those that support: community development; arts & culture; education; animal welfare; health & human services; and veteran causes.  Giving Fund recipients from prior years include: Kisses for Kyle Foundation; the PA School for the Deaf; Girls Inc.; The Bethesda Project; Canine Partners for Life; St. Edmond’s Home for Children; After School Activities Partnerships; and Build-a-Bridge.
