Rochester business owner hosts fundraiser to benefit Susan G. Komen Foundation

June 5, 2011 - PRLog -- Grown & Sexy Things and Come Hither Boutique are joining forces and sponsoring an evening of giving and caring in an ultra-glamorous charity event August 27th 2011; ‘Grown & Sexy Girls Night Out Cares’.  The event will be held at Rochester, NY’s newest downtown lounge The  R.O.A.R Club.  If you’re looking for an opportunity to support a great cause this is an event you surely don’t want to miss. The owner of Grown & Sexy Things and Come Hither Boutique, Traci Adedeji, is the creator and powerhouse behind this operation. She will be donating proceeds to the Susan G Komen For The Cure®, breast cancer fund.

The event will start with a warm welcome from Traci to set the tone for the evening.  A number of local businesses will be featured, offering unique shopping opportunities for guests featuring games, giveaways, food and cocktails to make this charity event even more fun and fabulous.  One highlight of the event will be a fashion showcase by Rochester, NY designer Raul Siro Ferreira of Siro’s Fashion in Design.  This segment will feature an exciting lineup of all male models.  

Traci says “Having 3 good friends who were diagnosed with breast cancer at relatively young ages and who continue to win their battles with the disease; it was a no-brainier when I was asked to walk in the Susan G Komen 3 Day For the Cure® walk.  I immediately began to think of interesting, creative ways to meet my fundraising goal.  ‘Grown & Sexy Girls Night Out Cares’ will bring women together to share food, fun and positive energy, all for a wonderful cause”.    

Traci’s mission for this event is clear; to provide a fun, sexy and caring way to give to a cause that is so worthy. With breast cancer being one of the leading causes of death for women, Traci knew she wanted to do what she could.  The Susan G Komen For A Cure® raises millions of dollars for breast cancer research and awareness year after year.  She will participate in the annual 3 Day walk in Philadelphia, PA on October 14-16 in support of her 3 friends who are survivors of the disease.  With ‘Grown & Sexy Girls Night Out Cares’, Traci plans to raise as much as she can to contribute to this cause.
