The East Anglian Air Ambulance is a 365-day a year life saving service, which is so vital given our regions 5000 sq miles of some of the most isolated terrain in the country. The service is independent of Government and national lottery funding and is entirely dependent on fund-raising and contributions.
Karen pulled together an enticing array of prizes for the raffle from paint balling sessions to a ‘James’ Hoover, bottles of whiskey and home made cakes. With the help of other members of the Park Team, tickets were sold to Park tenants with Phil Leonard from BioFocus scooping the coveted ‘James’ Hoover.
Park Manager Katherine Maguire commented: “As part of the community, Chesterford Research Park is passionate about doing whatever we can to support crucial local services, such as the East Anglian Air Ambulance. Karen and the team demonstrated this passion by raising £400 to help keep our air ambulances airborne and we are very proud of their achievements.”
