39-year old Denis Byrd is a Pittsburgh native.  He, his wife and their twin daughters currently reside in Coraopolis.  Denis has been in sales for the past 11 years, most recently with KOHLER Company.  He and his wife, Christine, opened a salon, Bella Christine Salon and Spa, 15 years ago so he knows well the challenges that small businesses face on a day-to-day basis.  Their successes have included buying a 100-year old house and renovating it for business use and employing a staff of 12.  Having that business truly makes Denis understand the value of marketing and he looks forward to helping businesses in Pittsburgh grow with the help of Our Town.
