Wells Fargo Building Becomes Miamis Newest Green Building with Gold LEED Certification

June 3, 2011 - PRLog -- The Spinnaker Group announces that the Wells Fargo Building,  a world-class office building located in downtown Miami  has earned the US Green Building Councils LEED Gold certification. This is the second new high rise Class A office building in Miami to earn this distinction and the second by The Spinnaker Group. The project was designed by Nichols Brosch Wurst Wolf & Associates and features 753,200 square feet of Class A office space in a 47-story tower and was built by Suffolk Construction. The Spinnaker Group provide sustainable design, LEED consulting and commissioning services for the project.

According to Rob Hink, Principal of the Spinnaker Group "This building is another milestone for the greening of Miami and follows former Mayor Manny Diaz' vision for a green Miami. This building brings over a million square feet of green office space to the market allowing the employees to work in a healthier and more productive environment"

The building, which opened earlier this year is designed to save over 2 millions gallons of water per year and be very energy efficient.
