“This graduating class is truly inspiring. We have graduates who balanced full-time jobs with school, those who are single parents, and some who hadn’t considered the path of higher education until they found CCSD,” explains Ken Webb, campus director of California College San Diego. “They persevered, overcoming all types of obstacles to get to graduation. When they accept their diplomas, our graduates will be able to leverage their college degree and take the next step toward a better life and career.”
CCSD has experienced a steady increase in enrollment as more Americans return to school. The number of CCSD graduates is expected to grow as well, as students continue to seek career advancement with degrees from accredited institutions. There are over 500 students in CCSD’s 2011 graduating class.
