June 3, 2011 - PRLog -- The Greater Morgantown Convention and Visitors Bureau (GMCVB) is promoting its Facebook page using custom beverage coasters that are available at the Boston Beanery restaurants in Evansdale, downtown Morgantown and Tygart Lake as well as the GMCVB.

The beverage coasters encourage people to take photos of where they do MORE in Greater Morgantown and upload the photo to www.facebook.com/MOREgantown for a chance to win $100 in prizes each week.  The campaign runs through June 26, 2011.   For more information visit www.tourmorgantown.com/beanery.

“These coasters have a dual purpose,” said Peggy Myers-Smith, GMCVB Executive Director/CEO, “the contest is on one side and the CVB’s new logo is on the other.  The logo accents the word MORE in Morgantown, so naturally, when you’re ready for another beverage just turn the coaster to the MORE! side!”

The GMCVB Facebook page provides fans with information and photos on events and attractions in Monongalia and Preston counties and promotes contests and trivia as well.

The GMCVB’s vision is to make Greater Morgantown the region’s prime destination for travelers through the recruitment of groups, events and activities that enhance the quality of life in the community.  For more information on the GMCVB, please visit www.tourmorgantown.com.
