June 3, 2011 - PRLog -- Designer children’s fashion boutique BOYMEETSGIRL has launched its online store to bring pieces from Chloe, Tommy Hilfiger and Monnalisa to wardrobes across the country.
The boutique, which launched its flagship store in Gerrards Cross, Bucks, in September last year, has enjoyed huge success, stocking quality, designer fashions for babies and children aged from 0 to 16.

The eCommerce site will allow customers to buy a wide range of pieces online, from funky accessories footwear and underwear to investment items and everyday outfits, offering delivery to their door within 3 days.

www.boymeetsgirlonline.co.uk which went live on 1st June, stocks pieces from Dolce & Gabbana, Chloe, Tommy Hilfiger, Ralph Lauren, Hugo Boss, Juicy Couture, Angel’s Face, Monnalisa, Diesel, Scotch Shrunk and R’Belle among others.

The brainchild of mother-of-two Clare King, the site aims to fill the niche for young people who want to wear stylish, great-looking clothes and parents who want to know those clothes are good quality and enduring.

Clare said: “boymeetsgirlonline is something I’ve been working towards for some years now. As the mother of two fashion-conscious sons I am no stranger to the battle between parents and children over what looks cool and what is worth paying for.

“After months of market research and meeting with various fashion houses, I was confident there was a definite gap in the market. Historically, there is always that battle, where a parent wants to invest in an excellent quality classic item, a coat or a jacket, while their teenage daughter would rather buy 12 separates from the high street, regardless of their quality.
Understanding that is key to success, so we’re careful to stock accessories and footwear to ensure we can offer a complete look to please everyone.

Clare King is following in the footsteps of her mother, who also owned a children’s clothes shop when Clare was growing up.

Market research saw Clare speak to parents across the country about the choice and quality of children’s clothing available, and its accessibility.

An online boutique was always Clare’s ambition, in response to her research and findings about bridging the gap between what children – particularly teens – want, what parents are prepared to invest in, and how they find the time to shop.

Clare has travelled throughout Europe meeting with fashion houses including Dolce & Gabanna, Juicy Couture, Monnalisa, and Scotch & Soda to select pieces.
