Jesse Saunders, film writer from Ridgecrest, CA will be traveling down to Pasadena this late July to promote his first film that has already garnered multiple awards. Saunders says, 'the festival will be a great opportunity for me to network and meet other people in the industry who I may be able to do future work with.'
Saunders' film concerns a teenager, Delia, who is facing the troubles of growing up. According to Saunders, the film portrays how 'a decision can seem so harmless, but today, you can never really know who to trust.'
Festival creator and director, Del Weston says, 'this is one of those films that is challenging for any film festival because it breaks down so many walls and barriers. It's tough to watch but somehow you can't turn your eyes away. For that reason alone, I feel we must show the work of this creative genius.'
Scheduled to showcase July 22-30, Saunders' film is just one of more than 600 short and full length features that the Action on Film Festival will present in late July. Along with featuring these films, the AOF will host a number of dinner parties and celebrations for the filmwriters, fans, and celebrities alike.
