Electrical safety practices covered at NPRA Reliability & Maintenance Conference last week

June 2, 2011 - PRLog -- DALLAS – Jim White, training director for Shermco Industries, presented “Safety Related Maintenance Practices” at the 2011 National Petrochemical & Refiners Association Reliability & Maintenance Conference on May 25th.
Held at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver, Colo., May 24 - 27, the NPRA conference is a 3-day program which includes keynote addresses, technical and management presentations, discussion groups, structured question and answer sessions, and an exhibition of products and services. Presentations focus on improving reliability in the refining and petrochemical industry, covering topics such as effective maintenance organization, productivity, equipment reliability, health and safety, training, environmental control, predictive/preventive maintenance, maintenance and engineering standards, inspection, procurement, and innovative reliability technology.
“Electrical safety is a huge priority for the refining and petrochemical industry, and I was honored to present safety practices at this conference,” said White.
