June 2, 2011 - PRLog -- June 1, 2011- Oxnard, Calif.- Oxnard Hyundai is proud to confirm, Hyundai has reported an all-time record May sales of 59,214 units, up 21 percent compared with the same record-breaking period last year.

The Hyundai Elantra and Sonata each top 20,000 monthly sales for the second month in a row. Hyundai achieves 35.8 MPG average fuel economy.

This marks the fifth consecutive month that Hyundai has set an all-time monthly sales record. For the year, total sales are up 29 percent, with retail volume rising 40 percent.
