Cuesport TV Release New Pool and Snooker Video Website

June 2, 2011 - PRLog -- After nearly three months development time the third version of online pool & snooker video site Cuesport TV has been released with a brand new modern look and new user interface.

The video platform will serve all of the sites video-on-demand (VOD) coverage of some of the UK and Europe's hottest pool and snooker events, plus the new live video system will continue to provide the coverage of the live tournaments, money matches and exhibitions that http://www.cuesport.tv are involved with.

Whilst the live video has now moved to a pay-per-view the VOD will remain free-to-air through advertiser funding. Viewers will be faced with a video pre-roll advert in advance of every video on the website, plus there are 3 large banner positions that rotate a number of high quality brands.

Managing Director of Cuesport TV Ltd, Pete Williams, said, "The development of the new platform has taken longer than anticipated but I always wanted to release it when it was right. One of the key things we looked at with the developers was the user-interface. It was important to make finding videos in the system as easy as possible, that way viewers are able to consume and engage with more content and not get easily frustrated when finding a video. Social media is integral to how we have grown the service and having sharing, embeddable video and Facebook 'like' functions was very important."

New to the platform for the release are embed functions allowing a user to place any video into a 3rd party website, in addition, share functionality has been added to allow a viewer to post a video they like to Facebook and Twitter or share it via email.
