The latest version includes a host of important updates that help make performing the comet assay an even smoother process.

High resolution live imaging
Comet Assay IV is now supplied with a FireWire video camera delivering 3x the resolution of previous models. This makes it possible to use lower power microscope objectives, offering a larger field of view and greater depth of field. This combination greatly improves scoring speed, with more comets per field and less time spent at the controls of the microscope.

Hedgehog counter
For laboratories that record ‘hedgehog’ comets, the new hedgehog counter will prove an invaluable tool. Hedgehog counts can be integrated into measurement data, ready to export to Excel for reporting and analysis.

Windows 7 compatibility
Every element of Comet Assay IV has been comprehensively tested and validated for use on 32- and 64-bit Windows 7 as well as with Microsoft Office 2010, ensuring compatibility with the latest software systems.
