Three Tarts Hosts Charity Ice Cream Tasting For Boys' Towns of Italy

PRLog (Press Release) - Jun. 2, 2011 - New York, NY - Three Tarts Bakery + Boutique will host a charity event at their Chelsea dessert destination in New York on June 16, 2011. Rated a top ten place for dessert in New York by TimeOut New York Magazine, the event will feature a sampling of their homemade ice cream sandwiches - featured in O Magazine - paired with a wine tasting. The evening's efforts will focus on raising money for the Boys' Towns of Italy with ticket sales and portions of the proceeds benefiting this organization which was founded during World War II.

Donations will entitle guests to a three hour ice cream and wine tasting from 6:00-9:00 PM. The wine will be provided courtesy of Gary D’Urso, DWS, of Bonhams NY Wine and Spirits Department.

The money raised will help the boys and girls of Boys’ Towns that have escaped devastating family tragedies, violence and extreme poverty and have found their way to one of Boys' Towns four campuses.
