PBN Bringing Vendors and Parents Together to Address Public School Crisis

PRLog (Press Release) - Jun. 1, 2011 - The Obama Administration strategized to repair the No Child Left Behind Act. The revisions asked that each state lays out their own personal blueprint and create internal accountability systems that recognize student growth and school progress toward meeting their respective goals. The purpose of these revisions was to graduate students and prepare them for college and the workplace.

According to the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP), only 21% of grade 12 students performed at or above the proficient level in three content areas- physical science, life science, and Earth/space science. In Math, 26% of all grade 12 students performed at or above the proficient level. As for reading performance, 38% of all grade 12 students performed at or above the proficient level. As a result, the Obama Administration is forced to review existing revisions as schools struggle to meet 100% proficiency in science, math, and reading.

A Washington Resident has decided to step up to the plate and is now doing his part to combat the public school crisis- both locally and nationwide.
