Baby Point Gates Business Improvement Area To Unveil Major Community Project

June 1, 2011 - PRLog -- Where:  At the corner of Jane St. and Annette St. The event will begin at Java Joe's Coffee Shop NE corner of Annette and Jane Streets, followed by a photo opportunity in front of the Baby Point Gates landmark SW corner of Annette and Jane Streets.

When:  Wednesday, June 8th at 11:00 am

Who:  The Baby Point Gates Business Improvement Area; Sarah Doucette, Councillor, Ward 13; Cheri DiNovo, Member of Provincial Parliament, Parkdale-High Park, and other partners.

Details:  The event will include a few short speeches, a very important unveiling of a significant community project and a ribbon cutting. There will be an opportunity for photos and interviews with principles involved in the project.

Established in 2010, the Baby Point Gates Business Improvement Area takes its name from the historic stone gates at the corner of Jane and Annette Streets in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The BIA, which represents 100 retail and specialty businesses in the area, is dedicated to marketing, revitilization and promotion of the area, which is surrounded by some of Toronto's most beautiful neighbourhoods.
