Transline Technology Acquires Hi Electronics

June 1, 2011 - PRLog -- Anaheim, CA – Transline Technology, Inc has been in the Printed Circuit Board business for 20+ years.  Last week, they broadened their scope of services significantly by acquiring HI Electronics.  HI Electronics, also 20 year industry veteran,  was formerly located in Los Angeles, CA.  All of their equipment and staff have now been relocated to the 20,000 square foot facility owned and occupied by Transline Technology in Anaheim, CA.   HI Electronics offers photo-etched and chemical milled products and services.  These products include flexible circuits, rigid-flex circuits, precision chemical milling and etching and a vast array of related products and services.  
“HI Electronics and Transline Technology, have compatible products and services that fit nicely together.”, reported Larry Padmani, co-owner of Transline.  “We had some available space in our plant, and rather than maintain two physical spaces, we opted to consolidate our facilities since they use similar chemicals and processes to ours.”
RF and Microwave Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs), account for approximately 60% of Transline’s overall sales.  HI Electronics offers products often used in RF/MW industries as well, such as RF shielding and solder paste masks for assembly.  Transline currently has some limited capability to manufacture flex and rigid-flex circuits, but will now have full ability, equipment and staff to fabricate these products.  HI Electronics has focused on the electronic, aircraft, computer and automotive industries.
Both companies will now operate under the flagship company’s name, Transline Technology.  
“We are excited about the possibilities before us, says Mr. Padmani. “We can now offer so much more than either company could have offered on its own.  It’s a bit crazy around here right now…but we should be fully settled in within the next couple of weeks!”
