AMM Communications LLC Celebrates Third Anniversary

PRLog (Press Release) - Jun. 1, 2011 - (St. Louis) – AMM Communications LLC, the St. Louis-based public relations firm that provides consulting in the areas of public relations, marketing, crisis communication, social media and business development training, celebrated its three-year anniversary June 1.

Since its founding in 2008, AMM Communications has served the leading companies in their industry sectors providing them with support ranging from media relations and crisis communications to social media consulting and M&A communications.  The company, co-founded by Ed and Ann Marie Mayuga, focuses on financial institutions, professional services firms and manufacturing / distribution companies throughout the region and nationwide.

“We are public relations consultants who help our clients’ business grow,” said Ed Mayuga, who oversees the firm’s social media and business development consulting practices. “Our only focus is to make sure that our clients receive results that they value and will add to their revenues. Prior to founding AMM Communications, Ann Marie worked as managing director for a boutique public relations firm, served as Director of Public Relations for GenAmerica Financial and later as Director of Marketing for MetLife, which acquired GenAmerica in 2000. She is a board member of Carney’s Kids Foundation serving on the organization’s secretary and a member of the public relations committee, and active with the Missouri Venture Forum. She received her master’s of journalism and public affairs from American University; a master’s of adult and continuing education from the University of Georgia, Athens; and a bachelor’s of journalism from the University of Missouri, Columbia.

Ed previously worked for a consulting company working in the search management area, served as a District Sales Manager for Pfizer Inc., and worked as a sales representative for Abbott Laboratories and UPS. He serves on the boards for Catholic Charities and St. Louis University John Cook School of Business Alumni Association. He is active with the Public Relations Society of America St. Louis Chapter.
Ed received his master’s of business administration and undergraduate degrees from St. Louis University.
