YMCA Camp Mason: Summer Camp Values

YMCA Camp Mason, for example, has some of the lowest prices in the tri-state area for both day and resident camp, and uses the money raised from its Annual Fund to make sure every kid has a chance to experience "the summer of a lifetime".

"Requests for aid have increased significantly over the last few years," says Don Jennings, the director at YMCA Camp Mason. "The good news is that we've set aside additional funds to keep up with demand. It's at the heart of our mission, really. Every kid should be able to go to camp."

"We measure success in two ways," says Jennings. "The first is delivering a safe, thoughtful, and enjoyable program that takes advantage of our unique location and facilities. The second - and this is the one that brings our families back year after year - is relationships. YMCA Camp Mason is preparing for its 112th season of summer camp in northwest New Jersey. A non-profit residential summer camp open to families of all backgrounds, Camp Mason maintains the YMCA's focus of Youth Development, Healthy Living, and Social Responsibility in all of its programs.
