Alla Prima Creations On Canvas To Celebrate Grand Opening On Saturday, June 18

May 30, 2011 - PRLog -- JUNO BEACH, Fla. – Alla Prima Creations on Canvas in Juno Beach is celebrating their Grand Opening on Saturday, June 18 with a special day of classes and prizes. Alla Prima is a place where anyone from a beginner to a skilled painter could come and release their inner artist and enjoy an instructed painting experience all while enjoying a glass of wine or the beverage of their choice.

The festivities start at 12:30 p.m. with the first class slated to begin at 1 p.m., followed by classes at 3 p.m., 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. In addition, there will be a raffle for original paintings by local artists and a limited edition giclee by Joseph LaPierre.  A portion of the proceeds from the grand opening celebration will benefit the ArtiGras Art Education Foundation which supports local school art programs.

Alla Prima was the brainchild of local artist Joseph LaPierre, who unfortunately passed away before the project came to fruition. LaPierre’s friends and family decided to continue Joe’s dream, in his honor, and opened Alla Prima Creations.
