RE/MAX DFW Associate’s Tanja Anderson Receives SRES Designation

PRLog (Press Release) - May 27, 2011 - The Senior Advantage Real Estate Council® in Murphy, California, recently awarded the Seniors Real Estate Specialist® (SRES) professional designation to Tanja Anderson, who has been in the real estate business for over 7 years.

Seniors Real Estate Specialists® help seniors make wise decisions about selling the family home, buying rental property, managing the capital gains and estate tax implications of owning real estate, obtaining a reverse mortgage, moving to a senior community, and other issues.  Ms. Anderson has demonstrated that she has the requisite knowledge, experience and expertise to be a Seniors Real Estate Specialist® by earning the SRES designation. She has become very familiar with the different options for transitioning seniors from their homes into a new setting that is more suited for them. Those options include choosing between active adult communities, retirement communities, assisted living, private care homes and other similar communities for seniors that the Metroplex has to offer.

The Senior Advantage Real Estate Council® (SAREC) tracks the special issues and needs of senior property owners and provides education to REALTORS® who make seniors an important focus of their business. The SRES designation was introduced in 1997 and is nationally recognized.
