Wow Softscapes, the innovative leader in creating destinations for children, designed an original themed play area made of soft sculpted foam pieces. The area is designed for children under the age of seven who may need a place for entertainment before or in between JetBlue flights. The area was designed with a purpose – to create a family friendly area for those traveling to and from family destinations.
Wow Softscapes created a travel theme that highlights family destinations where JetBlue operates. The kid friendly environment features soft sculpted foam pieces resembling real travel activities like scuba diving, a luggage carousel, snowboard, and a boogie board.
JetBlue’s coordinator for brand experience, Chris Timmins says, "Working with the team at Wow Softscapes was a great pleasure. They collectively tackled challenges inherent in the airport environment and delivered a fantastic end product thoroughly enjoyed by our youngest generation of flyers."
Perhaps the highlight of this amazing children’s area is the unique elements such as play pieces that children can crawl under and rest on. Many of the pieces serve as an area for children to sit and relax while watching Nick Jr. from the projector. Children have their very own area where they can play in a travel environment, taking the strain off of traveling parents.
Reagan Hillier, President of Wow Softscapes said, "We were delighted to partner with JetBlue to provide a fun, travel-themed play zone for families and kids. We enjoyed working with JetBlue from beginning to end."
Officially open to the public March 2011, the new JetBlue Airways play area is an awesome outlet for families to relax and children to expend energy in the airport.
