Job purpose of the Front of House and Banquet Sales Manager is to maximize catering revenues to include restaurant food and beverage, banquet food, banquet beverage, facility rental and net amounts received for equipment rental; execute banquet and event food/beverage according to banquet event order specifications. Coach, train, mentor, FOH staff and banquet staff for superior customer service and presentation as well as events promotion; perform administrative functions as needed.
o Develop and lead a team of highly motivated and customer service friendly staff
o Promote excellent member satisfaction and service
o Further develop, implement and advise on our service standards and manual
o Responsible for all sales and bookings, confirmations, billing (in conjunction with the accounting dept.), generating proposals and contracts, soliciting new clients
o Provide leadership, problem solving and decision making in the Food & Beverage service areas
o Prepare weekly staff schedules
o Maintain proper par levels of Alcoholic Beverages and conduct monthly inventory
o Conduct daily reviews of beer waste reports
o Facilitate the set-up and execution of banquet service as outlined on banquet contracts

The ideal candidate will possess some or all of the following qualifications and or attributes:
o Minimum 3 years with Front House and Banquet Service/Sales Management
o Strong knowledge of wines, beers, spirits
o Excellent communication skills with demonstrated ability to relay information and knowledge
o Experience in the Club industry is an asset
o Strong computer skills: Microsoft Office, Excel
o Must be able to work flexible hours, days, evenings and weekends
o First Aid and/or CPR/Defibrillator Certification
o Demonstrate the ability to work in dynamic environment in a leadership as well as team supporting role
o Demonstrate communication and conflict resolution skills required to deal with staff and members
