Safe Passage and GCAS Launch Partnership to Deliver Training to Gulf State Region

The Gulf Centre for Aviation Studies (GCAS) has signed a partnership agreement with Safe Passage International, confirming GCAS will offer Safe Passage’s comprehensive training programmes from its new Middle East training hub in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

May 24, 2011 - PRLog -- The Gulf Centre for Aviation Studies (GCAS) has signed a partnership agreement with Safe Passage International, Inc. confirming GCAS will offer Safe Passage’s comprehensive training programmes from its new Middle East training hub in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Courses such as Aviation Security Screening, Air Cargo Screening and Compliance Training, X-ray Interpretation Training, Conventional X-ray, and Multi-View X-ray Training are available to GCAS students. These blended Computer Based Training courses are available in multiple languages, including English and Arabic.

GCAS is a subsidiary of Abu Dhabi Airports Company and an International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) recognised centre of excellence. The centre was established in 2008 to support and contribute to the rapid advancement of the regional aviation industry, through the development of the region’s human capital. GCAS has a purpose-built, state-of-the-art facility at Al Bateen Executive Airport in Abu Dhabi which provides rare benefits to students who gain hands-on experience of live airport operation.
