New Android Business App Links to QuickBooks

May 24, 2011 - PRLog -- (May 24, 8:00 A.M.) – bMobile™ Software of Eagle, Idaho, released their NOW™ invoicing application for Android. The mobile sales application connects QuickBooks®, one of the world’s most widely used small business applications, with Android®, the most popular mobile platform in the U.S. and the world’s fastest growing mobile platform.

The NOW app can be installed on Android Smartphones and Android tablets. Without requiring constant web connectivity, NOW can perform sales transactions using customer data and product information imported from QuickBooks.

With web connectivity, the app can email invoices to customers and return sales data to QuickBooks, eliminating data entry.  NOW is the first Android app that uses Intuit’s new “cloud-based” App Center to integrate with QuickBooks.

“In the U.S. alone, the potential market for NOW is in the millions,” said bMobile president Chris Macaw. “When word got out that we were working on this app, potential customers began contacting us to be put on a waiting list to buy. That’s promising and exciting.”

In addition to the market reaction, NOW has already been recognized by Intuit. Intuit selected NOW as a finalist for their national development award, the IPP Showcase Award. The winner of the award, to be announced in August, will walk away with $100,000 in prize money and a targeted marketing campaign sponsored by Intuit.
