Stone Upon Stone - An Illustrated Tale of Two Souls

Stone Upon Stone (Peak City Publishing, May 2011) is an illustrated story of two souls who walk together in life’s journey.  In time, they realize that they have unintentionally built a stone wall between them.  The book, written by Fayetteville, NC author, Brian Barnette, is now available for pre-order through his author page at:  http://www.wix.com/peakcitypublishing/stoneuponstone  

Shiloh Burnam, President of Peak City Publishing, LLC, selected the book as a 2011 release for the new publishing company because of its simplicity in words and illustrations that touch the heart of some very complex relationship issues.  “The words and pictures came alive in my heart as I turned each page.  I felt as if this book was able to articulate the words I wanted to say, but could not.”  

Mr. Barnette developed the story over twenty years ago and has shared it with others looking for reconciliation and healing of friendships and relationships.  He said, “friends who have seen it, have asked if they can forward it on to people in their past.  They are using the book to re-open communication channels.”  

Stone Upon Stone is available as a paperback book and includes a sentiment page at the end to write a note to the recipient.  Ten percent of the sales proceeds from his author page will be donated to The Trevor Project.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Brian Barnette was born in Melbourne, Florida. He spent most of his “growing up” years between Florida and North Carolina, attending both UNC-Wilmington and the University of Central Florida (UCF). He graduated with a B.A. in Psychology.
