May 23, 2011 - PRLog -- Introducing PuraSonica.com, a global music station broadcasting 24-hours-a-day over the internet with no commercial breaks. We specialise in music with roots in soul, jazz and funk, cutting edge beats and chill, through to deep house and electronica. We are the newest member of the Ibiza Sonica family.

We are based out of Santa Teresa on the Nicoya Peninsula, Costa Rica, and are dedicated to music, surfing and fun. We are a portal that flags up cool and wonderful events, parties and music, as well as providing details on where best to surf and stay on this beautiful peninsula. Our beaches were recently voted as being some of the best in the world, PuraSonica is now providing the soundtrack.

We provide a never ending stream of beautiful music from some of the most talented DJ’s and artists around the world as well as providing local artists and live performers with a platform to share their music.

We are a station which believes in the power of music, community, creativity and well being to nurture a more conscious, considered and prosperous way of life for everyone.  We will be raising awareness of the sustainability challenges we face, exploring solutions and supporting local environmental movements and community initiatives through events and programs.

We support the surfing and yoga communities and list local businesses with quality and a conscience.

Dahlia and Jeremy Gooden have spent the last 15 years in marketing, events and music in London and loved every second of it. Following the births of their two young children, they were looking for a better work / life balance and left the rat race of the UK to start a new life in Costa Rica.
Purasonica was born of out of their love for the beach culture of the Nicoya Peninsula and their love of sunshine music.
