Lexia Media, who previously worked on the Festival in 2008, will be tasked with promoting the wide variety of food-themed events taking place during the period, as well as attracting new sponsors to the occasion.
“It’s important for us to work with people who understand what we’re about and what we’re trying to achieve – and Lexia fit the bill perfectly,” said festival chairman Richard Woolliams.
“We’ve gone from a handful of events when we started six years to more than a thousand events, promotions and offers in 2010. Our ambition now is to turn this into a destination festival and we believe Lexia have the skills and energy necessary to help us achieve this,” he added.
Deborah Watson, director of Lexia, said: “We’re delighted to have secured the account for the EDP Bidwells Norfolk Food Festival.
“Norfolk has a wealth of successful food businesses and is a destination which deserves to be enjoyed by an audience from far and wide.
“We are looking forward to working alongside organisers to help create the best Food Festival to date, and to ensure this is yet another occasion which firmly places the county on the map as a perfect getaway destination within the UK.”

A full service agency, Lexia expanded its operation into the county of Norfolk late last year, with the appointment of former Archant journalist, Hayley Mace. Since that time it has acquired a number of clients within the area and is set to stage a PR workshop event for small local businesses this summer.
