Bank Holiday Weekend at Bloomsbury Bowling Lanes

May 23, 2011 - PRLog -- The end of May bank holiday at Bloomsbury Lanes sees 4 fantastic events meaning that you have no excuse to really make the most of that extra day off!

Friday means the launch of a brand new night "Crash The Lanes".  Brought to you by the lively and questionably sane Call The Love crew, the current promoters of the popular live music nights 'Call The Landlord' at Proud Camden this is sure to be a wild launch party.  Expect to hear the funkiest 90's hip hop designed to make keep the crowd on the floor from start to finish by some of the best young DJ's in London.  Look out for the Facebook event to get on the £3 guest list!

Saturday sees Bloomsbury welcome the extremely talented Benji Boko.  Boko describes his show as “on the fly, off the cuff, completely improvised live remixing.” Were talking Mozart vs. Missy, Dizzee vs. Depeche Mode and Snoop vs. Simpsons, just to name a few. Crowds are being transported from the ‘norm’ into a world of pure imagination.  In support will be the fantastic Hackney Colliery Band, they are east London’s unique take on the brass band. Whilst We, Like You is going off in Bloomsbury The Kingpin Suite hosts a very different party in Japan Underground.  After a run of sold out parties we are pleased to welcome back this unique event that celebrates the very best in Japanese music, culture, technology and more.

Sunday sees both parts of the venues taken over as Snuffed It presents The Almost Famous Festival.  12 bands, DJ's and a whole host of fun spread accross 2 rooms from 2pm on make this one a  must attend for any music fan!
