Since 1915, Hope Ministries has been committed to servicing the needs of Des Moines' homeless community. The organization provides food, shelter and other necessities to those in need.
Koch will be visiting the mission to share his personal story of trials and triumph to encourage residents. Always eager to act with compassion, Koch, along with his team from MacDonald Motorsports and Daystar Racing, will be spending time with those staying at the mission and participating with Bethel's "Make A Bed" program.
As part of this program, Koch and his team will be replacing the sheets and pillows of every bed in the entire facility. All 110 beds will be given new bedding, allowing each resident to have new, fresh sheets and pillows to sleep on. By providing this basic need, Koch hopes to positively impact lives with a message of love and compassion.
