Bayonne Plumbing Contractors DMC Plumbing & Heating to Sponsor Fundraiser in Bayonne for US Troops

PRLog (Press Release) - May 20, 2011 - Bayonne, New Jersey – DMC Plumbing & Heating will be sponsoring a fundraiser for U.S. Troops stationed abroad on Sunday May 22, 2011.  The fundraiser will take place in front of the Shop Rite supermarket located on Avenue C in Bayonne, NJ from 9am – 5pm.  All those who donate will be entered into a drawing for a flat screen TV.

The money and donations from the fundraiser will be donated to the local VFW in Bayonne, NJ - Joyce-Herbert VFW Post 226 - who will be putting together care packages to be shipped directly to the troops.  

In addition to cash contributions, items that are being sought for donation include:  Coffee (ground- instant or drip), Tuna (foil pouches or ready to eat, no cans), Cereal (individual boxes), Powder Drink Mix, Beef Jerky/Slim Jims, Sunflower Seeds, Pumpkin Seeds, Nuts, Trail Mix, Protein Bars, Gum, Baby Wipes, Sunblock, Hand Sanitizer, Multi-Vitamins, Visine and Band-aids.
